Animal Crossing’s Mr. Resetti And Isabelle Also Join Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

So we know that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will get an upcoming collaboration featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and Taiko Drum Master, but their next one is just as surprising, as Capcom announced that it will feature characters from Animal Crossing.

The characters in question are Isabelle from Animal Crossing: New Leaf and the raging Mr. Resetti, who has appeared throughout the entire series, thus far. They’re shown joining the Hunter in everyday hunting tasks like exploring and gathering.

Isabelle also looks more excited than ever to see the Hunter cook-up some Well-Done Steak.

Judging by the trailer, it looks like the characters will be skins for your Felynes, but it seems like they’ve gone the extra mile and added sound effects and their voices instead of just making them costumes for your furry buddies.

Additionally, Capcom also revealed that characters from past Monster Hunter games will make guest appearances in upcoming DLC that will feature little side-stories for the characters, like Cha-Cha and Kayamba.

You can also check out the game’s latest trailer that was shown during Tokyo Game Show, that highlights some of the monsters in the game, along with new areas to explore and hunt.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will release on October 11, 2014 in Japan, and in early 2015 in the West for Nintendo 3DS.
