Announcing Heroes of Mana

Square-Enix is really ramping up the Mana franchise. We’re going to get Children of Mana later this month, but work has already begun on the next DS mana game, Heroes of Mana. Traditionally the Mana series has been an action RPG series, but Heroes of Mana is more like a real time strategy RPG. You begin the game as Roger who has the ability to summon monsters like Rabites. Monsters can help Roger collect mana elements from the world to summon more monsters and raise an army. When you build up a fleet of monsters you can order them into combat. It is certainly an interesting twist on the mana franchise and we can’t wait to see more of it.
