Anyone Want To Play Square Enix’s Transforming Car Game? In HD?

One of Square Enix’s upcoming franchises is a racing game with transforming cars called Gyrozetter. On top of slick transforming arcade cabinets, Square Enix has big plans for Gyrozetter with a manga, anime series, and toys in the works.

There’s a Gyrozetter game in development for the Nintendo 3DS too. The 3DS game, producer Ryutaro Ichimura explained in an interview with Game Business, won’t be a port of the arcade game, it’s actually a role play game. Gyrozetter for Nintendo 3DS is slated for release this spring.

Game Business followed up and asked if Square Enix they’re working on a HD version of Gyrozetter? Ichimura says he doesn’t want to forget the adult fans and it might be necessary to make Gyrozetter HD if they want to bring the series overseas. Right now, Gyrozetter has only been announced for Japan.
