Ironically, the soundtrack to Arc Rise Fantasia by developer imageepoch now costs more than the actual game itself. Priced at 3,675 yen ($40), the OST contains 71 songs spanning three CDs and will be released on March 3, 2010.

Quite a few Marvelous Entertainment games made their way into Nintendo’s first batch of "Everyone’s Recommendation" budget reprints, as we reported last week, and Arc Rise Fantasia was one of them. The budget range re-release will hit Japanese store shelves on February 25, 2010 for 2,800 yen ($31)… notably less than the OST. Then again, 71 tracks is quite a lot.

The music for Arc Rise Fantasia was composed by veteran Yasunori Mitsuda, Shunsuke Tsuchiya (Luminous Arc 2), and newcomer Yuki Harada.
