During Gust’s recent live stream, the developers shared the latest look at Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, showcasing some of its story and gameplay footage.
The video starts out with the very beginning of the game, where Sophie is shown talking about how she wants to help people out. She then meets Plachta in her book form, who doesn’t remember much of her past.
Sophie aims to become an alchemist like her grandmother so she can help others. Meanwhile, Plachta explains that she wasn’t always a book and had a proper human form before that.
Next, they show some battle action with some of the game’s main characters. You can read more about some of the battle system features like the Chain Link in our earlier report.
Atelier Sophie will release in Japan on November 19, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
