Atlus has been introducing each of the Persona 5 Phantom Thieves leading up to the release of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 RPG. Today’s featured character is Ryuji Sakamoto, voiced by Max Mittelman.

In Persona 5, Ryuji is a former track star who’s fallen out of favor. After coach Kamoshida’s ridiculous schedule and training, he was injured and learned he could no longer compete. This has turned him into a troublemaker. Fortunately, he’s really a good guy deep down who’s always got the protagonist’s back. He’s dedicated to making society better with his abilities. His Persona is Captain Kidd.

Mittelman was also interviewed by Atlus’ PR Manager, John Hardin, for a second video segment.

Persona 5 is now available in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It will come to North America and Europe on February 14, 2017.
