Attack On Titan For 3DS Has Eren, Mikasa, And Armin As Playable Characters

Spike Chunsoft, makers of Virtue’s Last Reward and the publisher of Dead Island in Japan, has the coveted Attack on Titan license. They’re making an action game for Nintendo 3DS, which is slated for release on December 5.

Attack on Titan is an action game that replicates the feeling of speed from the anime series with 3D movement. Famitsu reports the game has multiplayer for up to four Titan fighters. The character you play as develops throughout the game.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are confirmed as playable characters for story mode. If you lose a mission and get a game over screen the Titan will eat you. Also, each mission has NPCs and if a Titan grabs one of your comrades you can rescue him or her by chopping the Titan’s arm off.
