The Ayaneo Slide Indiegogo campaign available right now until around January 4, 2024. For a limited time, interested buyers can pledge to support a few different models of varying price points. The company expects to ship the product sometime in December 2023.

There are four different versions of the Ayaneo Slide for consumers to check out:

  • Slide 16GB+512GB: $5,487 HKD (Approximately $905 USD)
  • 32GB+512GB: $6,272 HKD (Approximately $1,006 USD)
  • 32GB+2TB: $7,528 HKD (Approximately $1,167 USD)
  • 64GB+2TB: $10,197 HKD (Approximately $1,610 USD)

There’s also a teaser trailer showing off the device.

There is an early bird discount price for each of the four configurations. It ranges from 22% off for the base 16GB plus 512GB model to 18% off for the most expensive model, bringing it down to around $1,308 USD. The differences between the versions seem to focus on the storage capacities. However, they all have the same AMD 7840U GPU.

The crux of the Ayaneo Slide is in the name. It has a Nintendo Switch-like appearance similar to other Ayaneo handheld gaming devices, but the screen slides up to reveal an entire QWERTY keyboard underneath. This lets users immediately type on the hardware without needing an external keyboard to help.

It comes in black and white options. Both options have the same features, such as joysticks, D-Pad, triggers, shoulder buttons, and a cooling fan in the back. The actual screen of the device is a 6” 1080p IPS screen, which comes with high brightness options. On the battery side, it comes with a hefty 46.2Wh battery, but weighs around 650 grams.

The Ayaneo Slide is expected to ship in December 2023. The Indiegogo campaign will run until around January 4, 2024.
