Bandai Namco Opening a Cross Store in London

Bandai Namco will be opening a new retail store in London in July 2023. The Bandai Namco Cross Store will feature six official shops offering a variety of collectibles, cards and other merchandise based on Bandai Namco’s franchises.

The Bandai Namco Cross Store already has two locations in Japan, located in Yokohama and Fukuoka. The new location in Camden Market in London will be the first Cross Store location outside Japan.

The six shops within the Bandai Namco Cross Store London location are:

  • Banpresto Official Shop
  • Gashapon Bandai Official Shop
  • Ichibankuji Official Shop
  • MegaHouse Official Store
  • One Piece Card Game Official Shop
  • Sun-Star Stationery Shop

There will also be an arcade and an event space with the store.

Many of these stores will be making their first appearances in the UK. However, it’s not the first time Gashapon Bandai has opened outside Japan, as a pop-up store in Los Angeles is operating until August 2023.

It’s also not the first Bandai Namco attraction to open in London. The Namco Funscape opened in Westminster in 1997 and offered up arcade attractions. Due to redevelopment plans, Bandai Namco were forced to close the location in 2021. Other Namco Funscape locations are still in operation in other parts of the UK.

The Bandai Namco Cross Store UK location will be opening in July 2023. Bandai Namco will provide more details closer to the opening date.
