Bandai Namco has released the streaming guidelines for Sword Art Online Last Recollection, the upcoming game in the SAO franchise. However, there will be restrictions past a certain point in the story.

As part of the Sword Art Online Last Recollection streaming guidelines, the company asked players to refrain from sharing content past and including Chapter 5 of the Main Story in the game. It also tasked them with avoiding sub episodes during the latter portion of the game.

The sharing restriction will only apply for the first four months past the release date of SAO Last Recollection. This means that people will be able to live stream and share content past Chapter 5 on February 4, 2024.

Other general streaming and sharing guidelines include marking appropriate content as spoilers, not infringing upon Bandai Namco copyright or any third party’s intellectual property rights, and refraining from making insensitive comments or political or religious remarks that could be considered hate speech.

Sword Art Online Last Recollection will launch on October 6, 2023 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam. A demo of the game is also available now.
