Drawing from Twin Peaks and games like Deadly Premonition, Baobab’s Mausoleum offers players a city filled with various characters to interact with and get to know. These characters hold many secrets, and it will be up to the player to learn about these people and find out the strange dealings they’re up to, be they criminal or simply just going out at night looking for UFOs to eat.

Baobab’s Mausoleum features point & click style puzzles, where players will need to find items and help out the weird characters in order to get the tools they need to move forward with the plot. Not everyone in the nightmare town takes kindly to being snooped on, though, so players will also have to engage in turn-based combat against them, beating down their enemies with a handful of powers.

Despite the murderous intent of some of its inhabitants, Baobab’s Mausoleum looks to offer a silly experience to its players, with a lighthearted tone and several added minigames, like a monstrous golf game, to keep its mood light.

Baobab’s Mausoleum is currently in development, and is intended to release epsiodically.
