Baristas Enter Caffeine & Heavy Metal-Fueled Brawls In Coffee Crisis

Aliens have come to Earth for free wifi, heavy metal, and coffee, and a pair of irritable baristas are out to stop them in arcade beat ‘em up Coffee Crisis.

Players will battle hordes of alien creatures as their chosen barista, using an array of impromptu weapons they find on their journey to clobber anything that means to hurt them. Aliens aren’t the only threat, though, as the extraterrestrial beings have brainwashed various humans to do their fighting for them, forcing players to pummel country singers, thugs, and hostile grannies as well.

While smashing faces to Coffee Crisis’ heavy metal soundtrack, players may come across random modifiers to the game. These will make dramatic changes to play that may hurl tons of enemies at them or add great strength to their barista, making for some surprising events on each run at the game. Should the game be played over Twitch, viewers can also add more chaos to the mix with their own alterations to enemies and play.
