Baroque takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting where the cataclysm destroyed the world. You play as a silent and amnesiac protagonist given the task of purifying meta beings in a giant dungeon called Neuro Tower. The dungeon is randomly generated with traps and monsters. Killing monsters yields hearts that can restore the protagonist’s vitality allowing him to venture further into the tower. Without spoiling too much, the only way to progress though the cryptic critical path is death.

Atlus localized Baroque and released it for PlayStation 2 and Wii. Now, you can get Baroque for iOS. This version has survival mode which keeps track of your experience points and play time before you die. Scores are posted on GameCenter where you can compare your run through Neuro Tower against other players. Baroque is a free download, but you only get part one of story or survival mode. If you want the full game (story + survival mode) you need to pay an additional $8.99.
