There’s no question that the big news from the Square-Enix closed theater was the new suite of Kingdom Hearts games. However, the other trailers gave a better impression of what’s coming in the near future. Take a look at them, bullet point style.
Squall is in Dissida Final Fantasy. The trailer revealed him matching blades with Sephiroth. At the end of the trailer there was a giant creature surfacing from the lava that looks like the red figure in Dissida’s logo.
The new Parasite Eve game is called the 3rd Birthday and it has Aya at her wedding. She’s at a church in her gown when someone grabs something from the chapel door. She pulls out her gun, a wedding ring falls on to the ground and blood surrounds it.
There was a new Final Fantasy XIII trailer with Lightning fighting and a movie scene where Shiva turns into a motorcycle. At the end there was a girl in pink looking over a canyon with dinosaur-like creatures.
The show ended with a fantastic trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII. The main character is sitting in a luxurious car, then all of the sudden we pan to him battling helmet wearing soldiers. He makes some fancy moves during his altercation like using one of his swords to grab a gun and then spinning around to shoot everyone around him.
Both Final Fantasy XIII trailers ended with for Playstation 3 ONLY in bold letters.
