Best Wuthering Waves Launch Weapons

A good character is nothing without a good weapon. Attack: 33 with a 6.75 percent bonus

When Resonance Liberation is released, Hollow Mirage grants three stacks of Iron Armour. Iron Armour increases both Attack and Defense by three percent per stack. This effect can be stacked up to three times. When the equipped Resonator takes damage, the number of Iron Armour Stacks is decreased by one.

Hollow Mirage is good for tank characters who can deal a good amount of offensive damage. These Gauntlets have the advantage of playing into both the offensive and defensive playstyles, making it one of the best choices at launch.

Best Wuthering Waves Sword: Lunar Cutter

Attack: 33 with an additional 6.75 percent increase

Lunar Cutter grants its Resonator six stacks of Oath upon entering battle. Oath is an effect that increases Attack by two percent. Stacks are removed every two seconds but can be regained by defeating an enemy. This can be triggered once every 12 seconds.

Lunar Cutter is a great weapon for characters who don’t need to be on field for very long in the team rotation. Burst damage characters who need to just get on field, do their special attacks, and be switched out are perfect for this sword. Furthermore, Lunar Cutter benefits characters who have extremely strong Intro and Outro Attacks.

Best Wuthering Waves Rectifier: Stringmaster

Attack: 40

Crit Rate: Eight percent

Stringmaster increases all Resonance Attributes’ damage by 12 percent. Attack is increased by another 12 percent when a Resonance Skill hits a target, stacking up to two times. When the equipped Resonator is not on field, their Attack is increased by another 12 percent.

Stringmaster is fantastic because of the sheer amount of damage buffs it grants. It’s especially good for off-field DPS characters because of the additional Attack buff when they’re not on field. This means that the equipped Resonator gets damage buffs no matter if they’re on-field or off-field.

Best Wuthering Waves Pistol: Thunderbolt

Attack: 31 with an additional 8.1 percent bonus

The Thunderbolt increases Resonance Damage by seven percent when the Resonator hits a target with a Basic or Heavy Attack. This effect stacks up to three times and can be triggered once per second.

The Thunderbolt is the best weapon for Wuthering Waves characters whose main focus is their Resonance Skill. With the Thunderbolt, you won’t be waiting for the cooldown to end to trigger your Resonance Skill. The Thunderbolt makes this downtime productive, giving your character the buffs they need in preparation for the cooldown to finish.

Best Wuthering Waves Broadblade: Verdant Summit

Attack: 47

Crit Damage: 10.8 percent

Verdant Summit increases all damage from Resonance Attributes by 12 percent. Every time an Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, Heavy Attacks’ damage is increased by 24 percent. This can stack twice and lasts for 14 seconds.

This weapon is fantastic for characters who make use of their Resonance Attributes and their Heavy Attacks more so than their regular attacks. A lot of weapons’ effects can only occur once every 10 to 20 seconds, but Verdant Summit doesn’t have that limitation. Instead, its effects last for 14 seconds. And because its stacks rely on commonly-used attacks, it’s super easy to have a 100% uptime.

Wuthering Waves is now available on Android, iOS, and PC.
