I chose Bullet, a grappler character who also has attacks imbued with fire. Her drive move is a "lock-on" move that makes a ring extend from her. If this ring touches her opponent, Bullet teleports above and slams the opponent to the ground. The ring extends rather slowly so you can back dash away from it. You can use Bullet’s lock on move during a combo to end with a grapple attack. It’s also possible to add in an extra hit after the grapple slam too.
Landing a lock-on grapple powers Bullet up. The ring extends in range and she goes into "heat up" state. Do the lock-on drive in midair and Bullet does a dive attack into an opponent, if the reticule touches them. Bullet also has a grab move where she throws the other player to the right or left side of the screen. The other player bounces so you can continue a combo after using the throw attack.
