Blazing Chrome introduces players to a world in ruins with a new trailer, setting the stage for some Contra-like running and gunning with the game’s intro cutscene.
The trailer shows players a bleak landscape, riddled with broken buildings and scorched bones. Standing amidst the wreckage are Mavra, a resistance fighter, and Doyle, a converted machine, the twin heroes who aim to take the world back from the grip of the machines who brought it to its current state, either through single player or co-op gunplay.
The developers have also been introducing stage mechanics and and abilities through trailers on their YouTube page, from the ability to carry several weapons and tools at the same time to the combat roll that will aid in keeping players from getting shot. They have also been releasing some possible weapons, from machine guns to launchers that fire bouncing grenades, stage mechanics like speeder bikes, and abilities like double jumping, that will add some variety and new challenges to overcome.
Blazing Chrome is currently in development with no set release date.
