Gust shared the first gameplay trailer for Blue Reflection with a look at some battle footage featuring the game’s three main magical girls in action.
The battle system is quite simple as seen in the video. It revolves around the Reflectors (magical girls) using a source of energy called “Ether” that comes from emotions. The percentage shown at the bottom-left of the screen is the Ether count, and it can be raised by performing an “Ether Charge.”
The number also increases when using actions such as heals or protecting allies from enemies with action commands that are done in real-time. You can even use a special Guard move called “Reflect” which basically uses up your Ether to bring out a shield and reflect enemy attacks.
Blue Reflection releases in Japan on March 30, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
