Although it only received a brief mention during the Nintendo Direct, Bravely Default II received its final trailer shortly after the main presentation. The narrator was much friendlier than the last promotional video, too. Although it was very fast-paced, the trailer showed elements to entice newcomers and series veterans alike. Square Enix shared basics like the introduction of four heroes of light on a journey to recover the crystals, along with mix-and-match snippets of the job system. Eagle-eyed viewers might also notice the NPC Prince Castor also appearing during battle. Check out the full video below.

Nintendo and Square Enix’s previous trailers for Bravely Default II highlighted the core battle mechanics, Brave and Default. Masochistic players will enjoy the narrator’s posh accent as she insults you into learning when to be offensive and defensive. The Nintendo eShop also has a demo of the RPG to try out just ahead of its launch.

Bravely Default II will release on February 26, 2021, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
