Cathedral, a NES-inspired action/exploration game filled with hidden areas, secret items, buried charms, and crumbling dungeons, is raising votes on Greenlight for an eventual Steam release.

In Cathedral, players are given a large world to explore, playing as an amnesiac knight who’s trying to get back his memory while banishing evil. By using swords, magic, and the help of his companion, Soul, he just might be able to do so, pogo stabbing enemies along the way, Ducktales style.

Cathedral lets players freely explore its world, finding secrets, hidden dungeons, and lost bosses through sidescrolling action. Seven dungeons lie hidden across the land, as well as a number of sidequests that will help players bring life back to this strange world of monsters.

Players looking to outfit their companions with ability-boosting charms and lead a bulky knight into pixellated combat should be able to do so in Q4 of this year.
