Bye-Bye BoxBoy! Announced For North America

North America is finally getting the final entry in the BoxBoy! trilogy. Bye-Bye Boxboy! will come to the Nintendo 3DS eShop today. It will be $4.99, like both BoxBoy! and BoxBoxBoy!

 

In Bye-Bye BoxBoy!, players follow Qbby as he goes through 180 levels on four planets, completing challenges, using new skills like box rockets and bomboxes and guiding Qbabies to safety. There are also five Challenge Worlds to unlock, each with levels that offer specific restrictions and rules.

 

This BoxBoy! game is also offers bonuses for people who have the previous games or Kirby series amiibo. You can get Kirby, Meta Knight, Waddle Dee, and King Dedede figures unlock corresponding costumes. Extra costumes unlock if you own one or both of the previous games. Also, the Qucy costume and Game Boy theme previously unlocked by the Qbby amiibo in Japan can be earned in Bye-Bye BoxBoy! by owning both BoxBoy! and BoxBoxBoy!

 

Bye-Bye BoxBoy! debuted on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on February 2, 2017, followed by a European release on March 23, 2017.
