The Legend of Legacy makers FuRyu recently teased a new title, and this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine reveals it as Caligula for PlayStation Vita.

While not much is known about Caligula for the time being, it is an RPG set in a school setting, and the name “Caligula” comes from the “Caligula Effect,” a term that can be used to describe when one has a higher desire for something they’re not allowed to have. For example, wanting to see something more because they’re not allowed to watch, wanting to do something more because they’re not allowed to do it.

Key developers behind the game include FuRyu director Takuya Yamanaka, Tadashi Satomi known for writing the scenario for the first Persona game, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 1 and 2 (developing off the original scenario writer by Yu Godai,) and Oguchi as the illustrator.

The above mini-scan has a text that reads  “could you kill an idol?” so it sounds like it might have a pretty dark setting, which wouldn’t be too unusual from a work by Tadashi Satomi.

We’ll have more detail as it becomes available.
