Why? Their forecast revision explains, Capcom wants to avoid competition from other fourth fiscal quarter games, expand their lineup for the next fiscal year, and preserve the value of Capcom’s titles.

Capcom plans to release Monster Hunter Tri, Lost Planet 2, Super Street Fighter IV and Dead Rising 2 throughout the next fiscal year instead of clumping them together. Look for those games and “other major titles” between April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011.
