Last week’s “Ask Capcom” video podcast also touched upon other Capcom franchises such as Mega Man X and Strider. Here’s what the latest is on both fronts, from Capcom USA’s Christian Svensson and Seth Killian:

Sven: Where’s Mega Man X9? Umm…

Seth: Could be on the moon with [Mega Man]…

Sven: It could be. Right now, the focus is on Legends 3. We’ll see what the future holds for Mega Man, but that’s where our… The eggs are in that basket at the moment.

With regard to Strider:

Sven: Strider IP has value. There’s no question about it; you know, it’s a classic. Unfortunately, there’s nothing happening with it right now, but we’ll see what the future holds.

Seth: Yeah, he’s got a lot of chit-chat, Strider.

The two also revealed that Street Fighter Alpha 3 is headed to the PlayStation Network in the future as a PSOne Classic title.
