Toro who is synonymous with Sony electronics in Japan also appears on the Playstation 3 and you can dress him up for a price. Before Sony announced Playstation Home they already finished Mainichi Issho (Together Everyday) where you can dress up Toro and play games with him… for a price. This month you can buy science equipment like microscopes (50 yen), a mini lab (130 yen) and a typewriter (80 yen) for his little house. You can also buy two new outfits a soccer costume and a baseball uniform for 210 yen ($1.75) each or get them both for 350 yen ($3). The price of each of item isn’t much, but imagine decorating an entire house for Toro. Not to criticize Sony’s gameplay or anything, but it is awkward that if you want to make Sony’s cat live a comfortable virtual life you’re going to have to invest real money, which helps pay the salary of Sony’s executives and their comfortable lifestyles.
