Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate will take the average player 16 hours to complete the first time around, says series producer, Dave Cox.
Take that with a grain of salt, since developers almost always fail to effectively estimate how long it would take players to complete something. That having been said, if you’re interested, Cox also provided his estimates for 100% completion and a second play-through of the game.
“Average first play thru is 16 hours,” Cox shared with a fan on Twitter. “If you want to collect everything 100%? its longer, second play thru are around 12 hours.” Later, he elaborated: “It’s more around 20 hours to get everything for an average player.”
What do you get for 100% completion? A secret ending, like in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Well, there go our hopes of Alucard stripping down to his undies if you get everything.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate will be released this March in North America and Europe. Prior to its release, the game will get a demo on the Nintendo eShop. You can read our impressions of the game here.
