Cat Quest Developers Talk About Where They Found “Ins-purr-ation” For The Game

2D action RPG Cat Quest is less than a month away from its release on Steam, and the indie title’s developer, The Gentlebros, have shared a new video in the form of a dev diary. The video gives us some insight into why they wanted to become videogame developers in the first place, as well as what exactly inspired them to create an RPG world with cats.

You can watch it all in the video below.

Cat Quest follows the main character as he embarks on a quest to rescue his kidnapped sister and put an end to the powerful and evil catlord, Drakoth.

Cat Quest will release for PC via Steam on August 8th, with PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions releasing sometime later this year. iOS and Android versions are also in the works.
