You can start referring to Super Pokémon Rumble as Pokémon Rumble Blast — that’s its official name. Nintendo of America have announced the game for release in the U.S. this fall.

Rumble Blast place in a Toy World. The story is about Drops of Light that allow Pokémon to battle. The Drops of Light have begun to disappear, and once they’re gone, Pokémon will be unable to battle at all. You have venture into the Toy World to recover the Drops of Light.

This is done by progressing through the game’s different areas. Each area has its own varieties of Toy Pokémon, and you fight large groups of these while there. Nintendo of America say Pokémon Rumble Blast has over 600 Toy Pokémon to collect. Every area also has different kinds of challenges. Battle Royale is a one-against-many endurance mode, while Charge Battles is an army-against-army brawl.

Co-op features made it in, too. You can play cooperatively over local wireless with another player, and StreetPass lets you challenge the Toy Pokémon of other players you happen to pass once you open your 3DS up again. Nintendo have got the game slated for release on October 24th in the U.S.
