Halloween is the time for costumes, and pirates and idols are no exception. The One Piece Film: Red Twitter account shared some new art of Uta from the movie, with her wearing some Halloween-inspired street wear. One Piece creator Oda was the one to design the costume.

The sleeves of her jackets have familiar designs such as ghosts, spiderwebs, and jack-o’-lanterns. Meanwhile, her sock has the words “Happy Halloween” on them. Uta will also appear on Shibuya Station’s digital signage until October 30, 2022. There will also be Halloween exclusive postcards of Uta. You can get one for free per transaction when you purchase from the Mugiwara Store, whether online or in physical shops. These will only be available from October 29-31, 2022.
Those outside of Japan can also get in on the Halloween fun. The One Piece episode that will air on October 30, 2022 will feature a new animation of Uta at the end. More details of this will appear on that date.
One Piece Film: Red is the most successful movie in the One Piece franchise. Not only did the movie itself sell very well (it is currently in 9th place on the highest-grossing films of all time list for Japan), but the tracks in it are all wildly popular. In September 2022, Ado’s “New Genesis” was in first place on Apple Music’s Top 100. Three other songs from the movie (all with Ado’s vocals) were also on the Top 100 list at the time.
One Piece Film: Red will appear in North America on November 4, 2022.
