Chainsaw Man appeared in Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020, with a new storyline hinted at the end of chapter 97. It follows the story of a depressed young devil hunter named Denji. Denji works to pay off his deceased father’s debt and is aided by his dog Pochita, who is actually a Devil that resembles a chainsaw. However, events cause the two to combine, which turns Denji into Chainsaw Man. MAPPA, the studio that produced Yuri!!! On Ice and Jujutsu Kaisen, will work on the anime adaptation for Chainsaw Man, though no release date has been announced yet.

The Animate Café Chainsaw Man collaboration will run from March 17, 2021 to April 12, 2021 in Japan.
