Hey Siliconera readers, NIS America just announced that Character Chowdown is available now. Character Chowdown is a Japanese language training game where you help Nibblee, a finicky writer for the "New Fork Times," eat katakana, hiragana, and kanji.

The game includes a katakana pack – everything from a to zu plus digraphs – for free. You can download Character Chowdown for iOS devices by scanning this QR code or going to characterchowdown.com.

The next version of Character Chowdown will include heroes and villains from the Disgaea series. If you have any suggestions of who you would like to see in the game send us a message via the Yummy Yummy Tummy homepage. The last time I checked Laharl is in the lead.
