Making Miis was never really my thing. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the Check Mii Out channel so I can swipe some cool looking Miis for my Mii Plaza. Nintendo is releasing the channel sometime this Sunday evening and there are two parts to it. In the Posting Plaza people can browse a gallery of Miis from around the world and drag them in their Mii Plaza. The Posting Plaza also keeps tracks of favorite Miis so users can see how liked their creations are.
In the contest section Nintendo challenges players to make a specific Mii. Some possibilities are ubiquitous historical figures, fictional characters and “themes” like an overbearing boss. Each challenge lasts two weeks. The first week gives time for users to create a Mii and people vote for their favorite in the second week.
