As brought up in the reveal, there are exclusive additions for this release. Radical Dreamers will appear for the first time. This is the Satellaview text-based adventure. You can turn off enemy encounters as you explore. The soundtrack is enhanced and remastered too. You can choose if you use the old or new graphics. You can also turn on auto-battle.

This marks the second recent appearance of Chrono Cross. At the end of 2021, the series appeared in Another Eden. The crossover story meant people could follow a new adventure with Serge, Harle, and Kid. It even included two different paths people could take, depending on the choices they’d make.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 7, 2022. Pre-orders will open on February 9, 2022.
