Code Vein Frozen Empress DLC Now Available, Check Out its Launch Trailer

The new Code Vein Frozen Empress DLC released worldwide. Bandai Namco shared a new trailer to commemorate Code Vein‘s second major DLC that takes players to a new Celestial Ice Prison location.

Hell froze over in Code Vein‘s latest add-on that introduces players to a new enemy called Frozen Empress. In addition to new costumes for allies and Blood Codes for the player, the DLC adds new weapons, Blood Veils, and more.

As expected, the Frozen Empress of the Great Collapse Horror fights using ice-elemental attacks. She also comes with a tough exterior thanks to her cold iron armor. She comes with two crystals that give her buffs, so players will need to block them using weapons and Gifts.

Additionally, players can take on the Poseidon’s Right Hand Horror Hunting Trial for an extra challenge. This requires beating the Frozen Empress only using a Halberd (Gifts and drain attacks are fine) and only allowing your HP to reach 0 no more than 3 times. Successfully completing the trial will get you the Blood Mist Halberd as a reward.

Code Vein is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game recently reached one million copies sold worldwide.
