Jigoku Shoujo (known as Hell Girl in North America) is an anime series where a girl is summoned to torment people after a name is posted on a mysterious website known as the Jigoku Tsushin. Compile Heart’s Nintendo DS game has players investigate the mystery behind Hell Girl by chatting with characters from the series. The story in Hell Girl will change depending on how you respond to other characters during conversations. It sounds like Hell Girl is a cross between a traditional adventure game and an interactive novel.

No North American release has been announced, but things might change after the series appears in North America. Funimation has the license to the Hell Girl anime and they plan to release it in October.
