Renown videogame composer Yuzo Koshiro has revealed two pieces of concept art from Streets of Rage 4 (thanks SegaBits). The game was being developed for the Dreamcast but was cancelled quite early in production.

Koshiro shared both of the images, which are dated September 1999, on his Twitter account. The first image shows the four main characters that were proposed. While the second image shows combo ideas for two of the characters – one is the son of Axel and is called Burn, while the woman is called Erie and is said to be a “shinobi.”

Koshiro was to reprise his role on the previous Streets of Rage games as the game’s composer. In his tweets, he acknowledged that a video of a Streets of Rage 4 demo had leaked online back in 2011, but what hadn’t been seen before was this concept art.
