In Take Two’s conference call the new management explained that the prior management explored the possibility of a sale but it is no longer ongoing. Grand Theft Auto IV is still on track to head to store shelves and to compliment titles there are going to be a few “succession titles” to round out their product offerings. Take Two also compared Grand Theft Auto as their version of James Bond, a franchise that can live on for a long time. The process to revitalize the troubled publisher is a long one and the new management aims to complete it in 100 days.
