If you can’t get enough Grand Theft Auto games get ready to go to Pacific City in Crackdown. Microsoft’s GTA inspired game is actually created by David Jones who worked on the Grand Theft Auto series. The difference between Crackdown and Saint’s Row or GTA is that you’re an agent of "justice". Wait that’s been done before… you’re an agent of justice in the future! Premise aside, Crackdown looks like it could be an entertaining sandbox game with co-op play. The environment system reminds me of Dead Rising, you can pick up light posts and trash cans to fight with if you run out of ammo. Also cooperative play over Xbox Live makes Crackdown worth checking out, at least by playing the online demo which comes out on January 18. The final game comes out a month later on February 20th.
