Sinxsoft’s latest development update for its dark Japanese-style RPG Cross Reverie reveals that the game is on track for its first playable alpha in early 2016.

Project lead and programmer Kovalen ‘Destructor’ Ramalingam also says that early 2016 should hopefully see pre-orders and bonuses for the game as well as its official merchandise arrive.

Plus, the game’s official forums will be opening up at the start of 2016 in order to get interested fans more involved with its development.

Ramalingam also says that the next step of the game will be upgrading in-game art and polishing up several areas, as well as advanced features from “enhanced stat lines to solo awakening possibilities.” He also revealed that Spike’s (pictured above) transformation will be conceptualized soon.

Cross Reverie is heading to PC, Wii U, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
