Dai Senryaku Exceed coming to North America?

You’re probably thinking what in the world is Dai Senryaku Exceed? I’m not really sure either, but I’m guessing that it is the localized version Dai Senryaku VII Exceed a strategy game from SystemSoft. I’ve seen the Dai Senryaku series before when Kemco brought Dai Senryaku VII: Modern Military Tactics to the Xbox, but it looked way too complex to step into. From the screenshots it looks like it is a mixture of Risk and Advance Wars, so if you’re into turn based strategy games this might appeal to you.

I’m more curious why it is coming to North America. The Xbox game came and went with little notice and it is so late in the Playstation 2’s life cycle that I doubt anyone will give this attention if the Gamefly listing is real. Also Valcon Games is listed as the publisher, the same company who brought over atrocities like Pirates: Legend of the Black Buccaneer. Dai Senryaku is a niche title and maybe, just maybe Valcon is switching gears into becoming a niche publisher instead of shoveling derivative games like Corvette on the market.
