Editor’s Note: Please note that the Honkai: Star Rail Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae trailer does contain spoilers for Version 1.2.

In the trailer, Dan Heng transforms into his Imbibitor Lunae form before an encounter with Phantylia. Though the trailer does not go into any details about what crime Dan Feng committed for him to undergo forced molting and reincarnate as Dan Heng, it does reference this history. More information may come out during the animated trailer (which the Gamescom trailer teased). It may also learn more about it in Version 1.3, whether through the main story quest, his character story, or his Companion Mission.

HoYoVerse already gave us some details on what to expect in Version 1.3. We know from the trial version of him we got to play in Version 1.2’s story that Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae is an offense unit who can eat up Skill Points to enhance his Basic Attack. His animations and his Ultimate appear in parts in the trailer. After his banner in the first half of the update, we’ll get Fu Xuan and Lynx.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC. Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae will appear in the gacha when Version 1.3 goes live on August 30, 2023.
