The creators of Dance Dance Revolution have a Kinect powered take on the series. It’s called Dance Masters and it doesn’t have steps.

Dance Masters has poses. Colored silhouettes float from left to right, just like arrows in Dance Dance Revolution. You need to mimic the move right before the silhouette touches your dancer. Poses include stretching both arms in the air, a bow, and a “little teacup” dip.

Swipes are the other moves in Dance Masters. Similar to Para Para Paradise, Dance Masters tracks your arms. Orange arrows indicate which way to move your arms. Songs have moves where you wave, create circles in the air, and move up or down. In theory, if you follow the on-screen dancer you’ll hit all of the moves.

Dance Masters has a two player mode and four player online dance battles over Xbox Live. The game comes with 30 songs and Konami plans to release more dance sequences as downloadable content. Dance Masters is scheduled for release this fall.
