Dare Ye Dance? One Piece’s Pirates Dance Off In New Rhythm Game

It had to happen eventually. One Piece is getting its own rhythm game with the aptly titled One Piece: Dance Battle for smartphones this winter. This one appears to be a pure rhythm game, with characters from the series such as Luffy, Chopper and Nami getting their groove on as players hit the right buttons to combo with.

Scoring well raises tension, although what that does beyond giving a score boost is currently unknown. The game will also be in full 3D so characters can show off when breaking out their best moves, or perhaps to let players better to enjoy those seagulls in the background bopping their heads to the music as well.

 

One Piece: Dance Battle will be out for smartphones this winter in Japan.
