Dark Souls Steps Out This September In Japan, October For Europe

From Software set a time frame for Dark Souls. Japan will get the spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls on PlayStation 3 in September. The game will retail for 7,800 yen ($96) at launch.

Namco Bandai is handling Dark Souls outside in North America and Europe. Eurogamer just shared a new trailer, which notes the game will be available in October. Overseas, Dark Souls is multiplatform; appearing on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A North American release can’t be too far away the game’s European debut, so get ready to hunt that vicious looking dragon around October.
