Dead or Alive, Suda51’s Silver Case Open On PlayStation Archives

This article is over 15 years old and may contain outdated information

Before Grasshopper Manufacture became famous with killer7 and No More Heroes their first game was the Silver Case which was developed for the PsOne. In the Silver Case players try to track down a murderer in the “24 districts” as a detective until the main character switches in the second scenario. Since the Silver Case is text adventure importers probably want to stay away even if it’s only 600 yen ($6.50) as a digital download. A Nintendo DS remake was mentioned to be in development in 2007, but we got a port of Flower, Sun, and Rain instead.

Fortunately, PlayStation 3 owners with yen in their account can pick up less text heavy games like Dead or Alive, Puzzle Bobble 3DX, and Bushido Blade 2. Yeah, Square Enix continues to support the PlayStation Archives with games they don’t plan on remaking like Bushido Blade 2 and Saga Frontier 2.

Here’s this week update in list form. Each game costs 600 yen ($6.50).
