Decoherence is all about smart drone placement and orders, tasking players with looking at the challenges on its top-down maps and then picking the right force to deal with their mechanical foes.
At the beginning of each of Decoherence’s stages, players will be able to see their foes and their types, from defensive units to attackers. Based on what they are up against and what they think their foes will do, players should pick out their own units, choosing mobile attackers, healing robots, or protective machines to keep their base safe from attack or allow players to take out their opponent’s base.
Players won’t just be idly watching combat, as players also control a single human unit on the field that can move and battle at the player’s will. This will allow them to fill in surprise gaps in their strategies, add extra offensive power to push through a tough unit, or bolster a defensive unit that’s been taken out .
