Deltora Quest DS in pictures

While we’re on the subject of anime games coming to the Nintendo DS, Game|Watch has a gallery of screenshots from Deltora Quest: 7-tsu no Houseki. One of the new features is there is an alchemy system where you drop ingredients into a pot and stir them together with the stylus. You can also craft weapons through the blacksmith system and collect rare monster cards. The graphics are shaping up to be pretty good as well.

Since Geneon Entertainment picked up the license to the anime there is a chance for a US release in the future. That is if the anime airs on TV and Namco Bandai decides to localize the title. It’s distant, but it may come out in English.
