One group in Devil Survivor 2 was prepared for the invaders. GIPS, a meteorological division assigned to research geomagnetism. The group’s headquarters is in Osaka, but GIPS has branches all over Tokyo. Under the leadership of Yamato, they are the national agency in charge of fighting the mysterious invaders.

Yamato – 17 years old
His family created the GIPS and lead it for generations. Yamato is the director of the group and leads the attacks against the Septentrion. He has a calm composure when making judgments and deciding on actions while fighting the mysterious invaders.
Makoto – 26 years old
A member of the Tokyo office staff, Makoto is said to have a frigid personality. Serious and not afraid to take risks, Makoto wants to protect as many people as possible.
Fumi – 21 years old
A member of GIPS’ Nagoya branch. Fumi excels in science and conducts various studies.
Otome – 24 years old
A physician at the Osaka branch in charge of medical care. She has a warm personality and a kind heart.
Magazine scans also revealed two more invaders – Merak, a blue creature that looks like a shellfish with many eyes attacks on Monday, and Dubhe, something like a red floating brain with a cone of gems holding it up strikes on Sunday. Previously, Alioth was revealed as Thursday’s invader.
It appears the invaders are based on the stars in Ursae Majoris: Dubhe (Sunday), Merak (Monday), Phecda (Tuesday), Megrez (Wednesday), Aloith (Thursday), Mizar (Friday), and Alkaid (Saturday).
