Mark up another anime license for Marvelous. GoNintendo pointed out that they have a teaser site opened for Detective Conan: Tsuioku no Mirajiyu (Detective Conan: Mirage of Recollection). Given the popularity of the adventure genre and that many other Detective Conan (aka Case Closed in North America) games are mystery solving adventures it’s a safe bet to say that Detective Conan on the Wii is going to be an adventure game. Using the Wii remote to control the action should be interesting, but Marvelous should really go beyond the standard point and search puzzles. Detective Conan games have had a history of being condemned to the shelf once you beat them since you know the solution to the mystery. Maybe they could make the game more like Clue where the culprit changes each time.
