Deus Ex: Human Revolution Flick Being Made By Hitman Film Producer

Square Enix and CBS Films will be working together on a movie adaptation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Kotaku reports Adrian Askarieh who produced the Hitman movie in 2007 and has a deal to make a Kane & Lynch movie will produce Deus Ex: Human Revolution along with Roy Lee who handled the American remakes of The Ring and The Grudge. Eidos Montreal, the development studio behind the title, will be working closely with the filmmakers.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution follows Adam Jensen, a police officer turned security consultant for human augmentation lab Sarif Industries. Adam is forcibly augmented at the start of the game when the lab is under attack. Since choice is a big part of the Deus Ex franchise it will be interesting to see what kind of "Adam" Hollywood creates. Will he be a stealthy fighter who avoids confrontations or go in guns blazing with unlimited Typhoon ammo?
